Partners

BAA partners with regional and statewide entities that focus on workforce development, implementation support and policy related concerns, as well as other issues and needs throughout the Bay Area. The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) primarily funds the work of the Academy and the CDSS Training Support Unit oversees their work together.

Regional

BAA also collaborates with the following regional training academies on curriculum development, training evaluation and coordination and implementation of statewide initiatives:

• California Central Training Academy (CCTA)

• Northern Training Academy (NTA)

• Child Welfare Development Services (CWDS)

• University Consortium for Children and Families (UCCF) in Los Angeles
