For Trainers

Thank you for your interest in the Bay Area Academy. This Academy offers a
comprehensive, competency-based training program for public child welfare staff and community agencies in 12 bay area counties in Northern California.  The Academy is seeking a select number of trainers with general and specialized knowledge in areas related to public child welfare practice, and who have experience training in the public child welfare arena. Academy trainers must be knowledgeable about both the public child welfare field and the common issues facing all levels of CWS personnel and their community partners. Trainers must be dynamic, personable, and comfortable providing an interactive training experience to a multi-disciplinary group of 25-30 CPS staff, foster parents, group home staff and other community providers.

This section will provide biographies of our trainers, training 4 trainers resources for prospective trainers, and information and forms for current trainers.
