San Francisco Department of Human Services Training Project

The Bay Area Academy has a county-specific contract with the San Francisco Department of Human Services to provide professional development services to the county's public child welfare social workers, public health nurses, foster care providers, and appropriate community service providers working in or with the public child welfare system. The Academy works closely with the Child Welfare management, community partners and the training supervisor to develop trainings and other events specifically designed to meet the needs of the City and County of San Francisco. The Bay Area Academy is currently developing training and consultation in the areas of resiliency, permanency, disproportionality and attachment/trauma recovery.
